Tank Man, also known as Centurion, is a superhero and founding member of The World Alliance. Born Lance Armor, his powers(in their original incarnation, amidst the real-life Cold War atmosphere) gave him the ability to transform into a powerful tank(one that closely resembled a British Centurion Mk 3).
In more recent years, following his departure from The World Alliance, and devastating loss in a battle against Mannik, Lance Armor used Dr. Gram Cypherok's Pan-Dimensional Broadcast Network to leave this dimension, and acquire skills and training elsewhere. He took on the moniker "Centurion", and after nearly a thousand years dimensionally-abroad, he returned to our dimension.
Lance Armor debuted in the 1964 "Saberman #140: Infamous Foes of the West, and of The World" arc.
