SOLID(Stealth Operations/Legal Investigations Division) is a clandestine arm of the United States Military, first introduced in the Jack Starr series. It is responsible for his creation, as well as that of his android partner, Raymond.
During his time on Earth, before coming into the company of the Lavistar Federation, Zaffer the Jet Marshal was documented and tracked by SOLID. He briefly fought Jack Starr and Raymond (he was called Rocket Boy)before his departure.
